Speed™ is partnering with PEAK Learning® to offer Quantum Speed players a
unique opportunity to equip themselves with a new, science-based tool that they
can use immediately to enhance their performance on and off the ice. What is that tool? It’s your Adversity Quotient® or AQ®. This unique and ground-breaking partnership
comes to us through innovative thinking and discussion with Dr. Paul Stoltz,
one of the principals of PEAK Learning ®, Director of the Global Resilience
Institute, and originator of AQ®.
Learning® is a global research and consulting firm and world leader in
assessing and strengthening human resilience in organizations. AQ® is the world’s leading gauge of how an individual
responds to adversity, and life in general.
Used by Harvard Business School
in its top-rated MBA and Executive Education programs and completed by more
than 1 million people, the AQ® profile has never before been used with young
athletes. This is where Quantum Speedâ„¢
comes in! AQ® is about the science and
practice of becoming measurably more resilient – and in what better world than
competitive hockey is there a need for the understanding, assessing and
strengthening of performance under demanding circumstances that AQ® offers?
A number of
Quantum Speed clients have been selected to volunteer as the ‘test group’ of
young hockey players to launch this industry-leading research project by
completing an AQ® profile. With this
information and the research that will follow this group of players, PEAK
Learning® and Quantum Speed™ will begin development of an athlete-specific AQ®. The project is
expected to evolve over a one year period.
We can’t wait to see the final product and add AQ® to the list of
programs we offer to our Quantum Speed clients.
